How Long Does a H-A Filler Treatment Last?
The time range is between a few months to 18 months. There are many forms of Hyaluronic Acids available to us nowadays under different brand names( Restylane®, Restylane Lyft®, Juvederm®, Juvederm VOLUMA®, Belotero® ). They differ in how concentrated and how the molecules are crossed linked. These two variable seem to predetermine how long they last.

What Types Of Conditions Are H-A Fillers Used For?
H-A can be used for treating facial contour defects. The most common treatments involve: Naso-labial( Smile Lines), Vermilion border/ridge( above the upper lip), Glabella( between the eyebrows) and depressed scars( e.g.,acne). Is H-A Treatment A Replacement for Laser-Skin Resurfacing, Chemical Peel?

How Many Treatments Are Required?
Typically two treatments are required over 4 to 6 week period to correct most dermal depressions. Improvements H/A are progressive. After the first treatment you will see some change, but each additional treatment yields more improvements.
Are The Treatments Painful?

What Will I Look Like Right After Treatment?
Most patients the improvement in appearance is immediate. Some patients find that their skin, at the injection sites, is red or blanched for hours after treatment. If you have a history of bruising, a bruise may result. Your physician will discuss other potential side effects with you during your consultation.
